Gaining Approval to Use the Business School Logo

As a student leader it is your responsibility to represent the Columbia Business School brand in the best light possible. To ensure that the Columbia Business School logo is being properly used for any documents or branded material that your club creates, please make sure that both you and any vendors you are working with consult the brief tips on usage, available through the link below on Use of the Columbia Business School Logo. All use of the logo requires Marketing and Communications approval; following these straightforward guidelines at the outset will help you obtain the necessary approvals more readily.

For logo approval on gifts and merchandise (T-shirts, banners, etc.), please provide the information requested in the merchandise request form. Approval or comment typically follows within five business days; Marketing and Communications will forward the appropriate file directly to the vendor.

When creating printed items, such as event invitations, programs or posters, please ensure at the outset that the vendor you are working with is aware of and working within the logo’s established guidelines. Then, please submit information on intended usage, a design prototype and vendor contact information in the request for printed material. Approval or comment typically follows within five business days; Marketing and Communications will forward the appropriate file directly to the vendor.

Many thanks in advance for your attention to upholding this most visible aspect of our collective identity. Comments and questions are always welcome at identity@gsb.columbia.edu.
