Exchange Program

Students enrolled in the MBA Program can apply to spend their third or fourth term at one of nearly two dozen of the world’s best-known graduate management institutions in locations ranging from South Africa to Singapore. For details, refer to the Chazen Institute's website.

While abroad, students enroll in the number of courses considered to be a full-time course load at the exchange school. They are registered for 15 credits here at Columbia Business School and pay tuition to Columbia.

Students who wish to spend a semester abroad as an exchange student will have to “pay” 4000 bid points. Students will need to plan ahead to ensure they have the requisite points to participate.

Participants must have completed all core requirements before going abroad. Those who have chosen to defer a core course may not be eligible for the program.

Due to the fact that dual degree students only spend three terms in residence at the Business School, they are not permitted to participate in the exchange program.
