Students who wish to interrupt their studies for any reason must apply for a leave of absence in writing.  The application for a leave of absence should be directed in letter form to the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and include reason for the leave, and anticipated date of return.  Students absent for a term without obtaining prior approval must submit a formal application for readmission to the School.  Students taking a leave of absence must complete the MBA program within five years of their start date.

Note: students who begin the MBA program in September are permitted to take the summer off between their first and second years; this summer break is not considered a leave of absence. Those who begin the program in January are expected to complete four consecutive terms, without interruption.
