The Dean’s Award for Innovation in the Curriculum is presented to a faculty member who has made an outstanding contribution to curriculum development, teaching innovation and overall classroom performance. This award is supported by a gift from George Wiegers ’61.
The Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence in a Core Course is given yearly to a full-time faculty member to recognize outstanding design or delivery of a core course. This award is supported by a gift from George Wiegers ’61.
The Robert W. Lear Service Award is given yearly to a member of the faculty, administration or staff who most clearly demonstrates commitment to and interest in working with the School’s students. The award was established by the Graduate Business Association to honor executive-in-residence Robert W. Lear.
The Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award recognizes those teaching assistants who have demonstrated outstanding skill, caring and involvement in presenting class material. The award’s recipient is determined by a vote among first-year MBA students.
The Surendra S. Singhvi Prize for Scholarship in the Classroom is awarded yearly to a full-time faculty member who exemplifies excellence in the classroom, dedication to teaching and ability to communicate knowledge and encourage students. Nominations are solicited from MBA students, and the winner is selected by a committee of graduating students.
