Club success will depend on both the quantity and quality of your membership body. Association Day, held on the Friday of the first week of classes each semester, provides clubs with the opportunity to educate the entire School about their activities.
Club membership is open to all MBA and EMBA students. PhD and MS students are not eligible to join clubs. Cross registrants and students from other schools at the University are not eligible for membership in Columbia Business School clubs. They are permitted to attend select events that are open to non-members (e.g. conferences) at the discretion of the current officers. They should not be permitted to attend any recruiting or recruiter-related events.
Dual Degree Students
Once a Dual Degree student has begun his or her first semester of residency at the Business School s/he has access to membership in any student organization. This membership may be carried into future terms when the student is holding residency at their other school.
Students who are visiting Columbia Business School on exchange are eligible to join clubs for a one-semester fee, to be determined by the club. At the moment, this fee must be paid in check or cash.
* The last day to cancel club membership and receive a full refund is 30 days after Association Day.
