Broadcast e-mails from administrative offices are delivered directly to student inboxes. Students can choose the format in which many School messages are received. To select online or digest delivery (which goes out at 6 p.m.), visit the Community site.

Managing Delivery Options

Students are able to manage how they’d like different types of message delivered, whether immediate inbox delivery, daily or weekly digest delivery, or online. Delivery options may vary by list — manage your subscriptions.

Digests are typically delivered at 6 p.m.; all messages sent and approved by moderators, where applicable, by 5:59 p.m. are included in the digest.

Announcements

Official announcements to the student body are now made by category: Academics & Learning; Careers; Community; Tuition & Financial Aid; and Technology. Each list is moderated by the appropriate administrative office on a daily basis. Plan in advance for scheduling of time-sensitive announcements; last-minute anouncement requests are distributed at the discretion of office list administrators.

Discussions

Select student-based broadcast e-mails — such as cluster, Marketplace, Real Estate and Book lists — display in the Discussions section of the Community site. The former Student Notices list has been split into Student Events and Student Bulletin. Note: not all student lists are moderated.
