Recognition Ceremony
Students will receive six (6) guest tickets for the Business School Recognition Ceremony. All tickets are for general admission. Anyone wishing to enter campus via either the 116th Street and Broadway or 116th Street and Amsterdam gates must have a guest ticket. Young children who will be seated on their parent's lap do not require a ticket.
Tickets will be distributed April 19h- 21st in the Uris Hall lobby. The schedule is as follows:
Monday, April 19th 11am - 4pm
Tuesday, April 20th 2:30pm - 6:00pm
Wednesday, April 21st 11am - 4pm
Notification will be sent out well in advance. Any uncollected tickets will be placed in the ticket lottery. Tickets will be held for students studying abroad. If you have any questions about your allotment, please email the Office of Student Affairs at OSA@gsb.columbia.edu.
Students should not use one of their allotted tickets for their own seat.
Commencement Ceremony
Students will be given four (4) guest tickets to the University Commencement Ceremony, which is held Wednesday, May 20. You do not need a ticket for yourself for this event. Your cap and gown is your ticket to Commencement.
Ticket Distribution
The Office of Student Affairs will distribute tickets for both ceremonies in the lobby of Uris Hall in mid April, during normal business hours. Students will receive an annoucement with more details via email closer to the dates.
After all the tickets have been distributed to prospective graduates, any remaining or returned tickets will be available by lottery and details will be communicated via email. We will not know the number of tickets available by lottery until after all allotted tickets have been distributed.
Please remember that tickets may not be sold.
