Being referred by an EMBAssador can make an important difference.

A year ago, as I was contemplating the next move in my career, and the benefits I could gain from an MBA, I sought the advice of a friend at work. Mike Kendzierski, my co-worker at IBM, was in the Columbia EMBA program (he's now in his final semester here) and he raved about his experiences in the program. In talking to Mike, I realized that the EMBA structure was perfect for my current path at work and my career goals. He recommended an information session and a classroom visit and soon I realized that the Columbia program was exactly what I wanted. Mike referred me to the admissions staff through the EMBAssador referral program, and I was contacted by Sid Jackson, who answered some of my initial questions about the application process. Having the contact to the program every step of the way made me feel like it was a two-way process, and I'm really grateful to Mike for helping me get the ball rolling.
