On December 2, Josh Adams ’02 led a seminar called Powering your Presentations. Adams advised faculty members on improving the visual and verbal style of slides, handouts and other teaching materials. He talked about using Power Point in classroom settings without becoming dependent on it or reading from slides.

Adams is a consultant with a marketing strategy firm, where he has worked on strategic communications issues. A former media executive, he has led teams of business and creative professionals in developing effective communications across multiple media, including Power Point.
