Professor Omar Besbes wins Revenue Management and Pricing Section Prize at INFORMS
Professor Omar Besbes won the Revenue Management and Pricing Section Prize, awarded at the INFORMS National Meeting in October 2012. The prize is given in recognition of the best English-language publication in the field each year. Professor Besbes's paper is titled "Dynamic Pricing without Knowing the Demand Function: Risk Bounds and Near-Optimal Algorithms and Revenue Management for a make-to-Order Queue in an Uncertain Market Environment."
