Memorial Day Weekend (May 24-27)
As you plan your visit to campus, please know that the Admissions Office will close at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24 and will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 27. Have a great weekend!

Office Hours
The Admissions Office is located in 216 Uris Hall on Columbia University’s Morningside Heights Campus.
Prospective students are welcome to drop by to speak with an admissions counselor from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

On-Campus Information Sessions
Information sessions offer prospective students the opportunity to learn more about Columbia Business School — its competitive strengths, its personality, and its application process. After an initial presentation, admissions officers and current students answer questions about the School. Prospective students are encouraged to combine an information session with visiting a class.

Student Chats
Learn about the culture and community at Columbia Business School by informally speaking with current students at a student chat. Starting June 4, students will be available to meet prospective applicants on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Please stop by the Admissions Office in 216 Uris Hall before the Student Chat and admissions officers will direct you to a meeting location.
Student Chats will not be held on June 27, July 2, or July 4 and will conclude for the summer term on August 8.
Visit a Class
Gain firsthand exposure to Columbia Business School's rigorous and innovative curriculum by attending a class. Class visits require registration, at a minimum of 72 hours in advance. Available seats are limited so please plan ahead. Starting June 3, summer class visits will be available on Mondays at 10:30 a.m. and 1:3o p.m. and on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. On Monday afternoons, class visitors will attend an information session in addition to a a class. On Monday mornings and Wednesdays, class visits will include an admissions informational chat as well as a class. The class visit experience will last approximately three hours in total.

Spotlight On: Series
Gain an insider’s perspective on academics and student life at Columbia Business School by watching videos from the Spotlight On: Series. A robust schedule of on-campus panels and events took place throughout the fall semester to give prospective students a more in-depth look at particular academics areas of the Columbia Business School experience, including real estate, entrepreneurship, marketing, and more.
Events for Minorities and Women
Throughout the year, the Admissions Office hosts several events designed to deepen prospective students’ understanding of the experience for underrepresented minorities and women at Columbia Business School.

Self-Guided Tour
The University offers a self-guided walking tour in order to learn more about Columbia University’s long-standing history and impressive architecture. Instructions for downloading the self-guided tour podcast and walking tour map can be found on the Columbia University Visitor Center’s website. The self-guided tour is intended for visitors interested in all of the University’s academic departments as well as the general public.
