Core Curriculum
The Columbia MBA Core Curriculum represents about 40 percent of the degree requirement — two
full courses and 12 half-term courses. A specific feature of the new core being offered as of fall 2008 is the introduction of a “flexible core.” In the second half of the second term, students will select their core classes from three prespecified menus (Organizations, Performance and Markets), choosing a single course from each area.
The courses that make up the core curriculum follow. Click on a course name to view the course description.
