Student Support

Support for MBA and EMBA students begins with the initial configuration of your laptop for use here at the Business School. This normally happens prior to starting the MBA program. After that, support is provided from the Student Technology Center (STC). The STC is comprised of three Support Desks, one in Uris Hall Room 202, one the Watson Library in Uris Hall, and one in Warren 402. The Support Specialist staff is composed of dedicated skilled professionals who have extensive experience in laptop and desktop computing support.

Support is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. ITG recognizes that student's time is valuable, and has implemented a drop-off service to accommodate this. When stopping by the STC for assistance, sufficient time should be allotted on your schedule. Sometimes small problems can turn out to be complex or elusive.

When bringing your laptop for service, please ensure you have the following items:

  • CD-ROM
  • Battery and AC adapter

You should also perform the following tasks:

  • Remove all passwords from your system
  • Backup any important data

* Please note our support schedule is subject to change to accommodate the School's academic needs. When possible, changes will be posted in advance. Last minute changes will be publicized via e-mail to all students.
