C-Level Executive Programming

Within our custom program options, Columbia Business School Executive Education has the ability to offer C-level executive programming. We recognize the need to provide senior-level executives with relevant content in an environment that encourages them to discuss business challenges and ask the big questions that leaders face today.

One example is our Strategic Leadership Seminar at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. A joint initiative between Columbia Business School and the U.S. Army War College, the Seminar provides a forum for knowledge sharing on thought leadership topics that cover interrelated subjects of strategy and leadership. Highlights include such topics as ethical challenges and critical competencies for leaders in the 21st century. A meaningful part of the seminar is walking the Gettysburg battlefield: a powerful experiential learning session that stretches the mind and helps participants think more deeply about the big issues they face, helping them to win the battle for insights.

This program can be customized to integrate specific strategic challenges and scenarios.
Willie Pietersen, Professor of the Practice of Management at Columbia Business School, is the faculty director. Working closely with him is Bob Johansen, Institute for the Future Distinguished Fellow.
