The Columbia Senior Executive Program (CSEP) will play host to executives from around the world October 4–30, 2009. As in the past several sessions of CSEP, participants will spend one week of the program in the heart of New York City.
The 127th CSEP class will reside amidst the lights and excitement of Times Square at the W New York Hotel and enjoy ample free time to explore the city—while also attending academic sessions on the Columbia University campus and at various venues.

One evening during the week, participants will attend a performance by Jude Law in Hamlet: the actor's first foray onto the Broadway stage since 1995, when he was nominated for his Broadway debut in the play Indiscretions.
In tandem with Hamlet, Columbia faculty members Andrea Haring and James Shapiro will lend their talents to sessions focusing on one’s presence—physical and vocal—as a leader. Andrea Haring, director, actress and voice teacher, is the associate director of The Linklater Center for Voice and Language and on the Columbia faculty. James Shapiro, one of the world's leading Shakespeare scholars, is a Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University and author of A Year in the Life of William Shakespeare.
After several days of creative and academic sessions in the city, participants will enjoy a World Yacht Dinner Cruise: a fitting finale to the week. The tour affords participants with views of the New York skyline and bridges, and a close-up look at the Statue of Liberty.
