Columbia Business School Executive Education offered a Webinar on April 8, 2009, titled "Accounting Essentials." This complimentary presentation, which was attended by 500 participants and is now available as a recording, featured Professor Sudhakar (Sid) Balachandran, faculty director of Finance and Accounting for the Nonfinancial Executive. He defined basic accounting terms, such as a balance sheet, income statement and statement of cash flows.
