Personal Cases
Very few educational programs allow you to personalize the curriculum like Columbia Business School Executive Education.

Integral to our program offerings is our commitment to create an environment in which participants can tackle a high-priority issue for themselves or their companies. Every open enrollment program in our portfolio incorporates experiential learning to create a direct link between the concepts learned and your individual business situation. Defining your case is often a component of pre-work that you complete before the program begins. This personal case could be an issue you are personally responsible for addressing, or might extend as far as a corporate-wide priority.
During the program, you will use new tools and frameworks you have explored and receive input from fellow participants and program faculty. In contrast to using standardized case studies, often from other industries, participants tell us that the personal case makes their learning extremely relevant, actionable and effective.
Bring us your toughest business challenge, and through discussions, simulations and extensive collaboration with faculty members and your fellow participants, you will develop a personal action plan that can be implemented when you return to work.
