Sree Sreenivasan (ss221@columbia.edu; @Sree) is Columbia University's
first Chief Digital Officer and a member of the faculty of Columbia
Journalism School, where he teaches social and digital media. He writes
the SreeTips blog for CNET and appears regularly on CBS and elsewhere to
talk tech. For more than eight years, he served as technology reporter for
WABC-TV and WNBC-TV in NYC. In 2010, a Manhattan-news site he helped
create, DNAinfo.com, was named one of the six hottest news startups by
BusinessInsider. He was named one of AdAge's 25 media people to follow on
Twitter; and one of Poynter's 35 most influential people in social media.
