An interactive session to explore specific challenges of "greening" cities and the built-up environment

One of the biggest challenges societies currently face is to make living and working in urban environments sustainable. Building a "Green city" from scratch is challenging, yet is happening in several places in the world. But how about existing cities? How can these places where millions of people live close together be made sustainable? How should energy supply and consumption be organized ? What about city planning, transportation and waste streams? And perhaps most importantly, how should our own behavior as city dwellers change?

Robert is a Principal in Booz & Company's energy practice. His main focus of activity is strategy development and strategy-based transformations for his clients along the gas value chain, from upstream players to utilities. Within Booz & Company's worldwide gas team which he co-leads, Robert focuses on clients in Europe, the Middle East and Russia.
