Whole Mind Strategy: Mindfulness Practices for Executives
Research has shown that while a certain amount of stress can be a motivator, excessive stress leads to anxiety, depression, and distraction, thereby reducing productivity, creativity and the quality of decision making. The good news is that it is possible to handle leadership challenges effectively with a relaxed and positive mental attitude. Stress can be reduced, and mental wellness improved through developing Mindfulness practices. This workshop session will draw on neuroscience research and experiential exercises based on Eastern mindfulness practices. Participants will be able to leave with a useful tool kit for use in their own lives, and with their employees and clients. Mindfulness expert Home Nguyen will guide you through exercises that have been instrumental to the leadership development of his executive coaching clients.
Facilitator:
Mr. Home H.C. Nguyen, B.A, M.A, and doctoral candidate in Adult Learning and Organizational Leadership, Columbia University.
