Media in International Conflict (MIC) presents a lecture entitled, "Local Media in Conflict: A Discussion," with Jean-Marie Etter, President of Fondation Hirondelle, an organization that has helped set up autonomous radio stations and news agencies in the DRC, Liberia, Central African Republic, Tanzania, Sudan and elsewhere.

He and four other distinguished media experts will talk about the logistical, ethical, legal and policy issues raised by the work of international organizations such as Fondation Hirondelle.

The event will be held in room 1512 of the International Affairs Building.
