Please join Dean Glenn Hubbard and Professor William Duggan as they discuss their new book, The Aid Trap: Hard Truths About Ending Poverty.

Over the past forty years, foreign aid for government and NGO projects has failed to lift poor countries out of poverty. The Aid Trap reminds us that all prosperous countries got that way through the growth of the local business sector. And the most successful aid program in history-the Marshall Plan of post-war Europe-gives us practical steps to shift aid from government and NGO projects that don't work to support a thriving local business sector in the poor countries of the world.
