The Entrepreneurial Sounding Board Program Offers Advise to Student and Alumni Entrepreneurs
The Entrepreneurial Sounding Board has grown to be one of our most popular initiatives, offering students and alumni the opportunity to discuss their ventures with practitioners, some of whom are alumni of the School.
During a 30 minute confidential session, a Sounding Board practitioner provides feedback, next-step action items and, in many cases, contacts who can provide additional support. A Sounding Board session is often the first step in the development of a business plan; students and alumni at any stage of concept development, can take advantage of The Sounding Board.
Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Clifford Schorer created the Sounding Board and notes, “We have witnessed an increase in demand from students, and alumni a few years out, wanting guidance on their ventures regardless of the stage of development. The Sounding Board is also a great way for alumni to become more involved with the School and give back by advising a young entrepreneur on their concepts" said Schorer. "The program has grown to be an invaluable resource that we are very proud of” he added.
