Electives
After completing the core curriculum, EMBA students can pursue their own paths of study, choosing courses from a vast array of electives. These courses allow students to delve deep into specialized topics with faculty members who are at the forefront of innovation in their fields.
In the second year, EMBA students take the weeklong international seminar, which provides the opportunity to directly experience business at the international level. EMBA students can also participate in global block weeks, which bring together students from all of our partner programs for intensive, cross-cultural learning experiences. Additionally, students have the opportunity to enroll in electives in the Full-Time MBA Program, many of which meet on weekday evenings, as well as in up to two courses at other graduate schools of the University.

International Seminar
The EMBA Program offers opportunities for students to directly experience business at the international level. The international seminar, taken for one week in the second year, joins students across EMBA programs, allowing them the opportunity to apply the global business concepts learned during their coursework in another country. Recent destinations have included Shanghai, Istanbul, Munich, Rio de Janeiro, and Hong Kong, and are continually expanding. Accompanied by School faculty members and administrators, students meet with local business officials, learn cross-cultural business practices, and build their personal international network.
