Core Curriculum
Columbia Business School’s core curriculum is a series of focused, rigorous, and relevant courses taken primarily during the first year of the EMBA Program. It is designed to give you an in-depth mastery of the academic disciplines and applied functional areas necessary for every business leader’s success.
First-year EMBA students are divided into
clusters
of students who take every core course together. Clusters are further broken down into learning teams of about five to six students with diverse professional backgrounds, a structure that fosters cross-disciplinary collaboration from the start of the program.
