EMBA-Global

In a pioneering partnership, Columbia Business School and London Business School launched EMBA-Global in 2001. EMBA-Global faculty members are leading teachers and practitioners in their fields, while the students who enroll are diverse, sophisticated managers who have or aspire to take on global responsibilities in their organizations.

In June 2008, a groundbreaking addition to EMBA-Global was announced, forming two cohorts of the highly successful, 20-month MBA program for globally focused executives.

EMBA-Global Americas and Europe

EMBA-Global Americas and Europe is the new name for the existing cohort of 65 – 70 students enrolled in the program each year. Beginning in May, students take classes monthly, in four day block periods, alternating between New York and London throughout the first year’s core curriculum coursework. In the second year of the program one can choose to take elective courses from any of the EMBA-Global partner schools: Columbia Business School, London Business School, or HKU Business School. Graduates earn MBAs and alumni privileges from Columbia Business School and London Business School, along with access to an extensive global network.

EMBA-Global Asia

London Business School, Columbia Business School and HKU Business School have announced the first Executive MBA program jointly located in the three financial capitals that are driving global business: New York, London and Hong Kong. EMBA-Global Asia is designed for high-potential, globally focused professionals, primarily based in Asia, who seek to deepen their understanding of both Western and Eastern business theory and practice and who are passionate about the opportunities that Asia’s rapid economic development affords.

The inaugural class commences in May 2009. Teaching of the core courses will take place in Hong Kong, London and New York, as well as, Shanghai. Graduates receive an MBA degree conferred jointly by the three schools as well as access to the unparalleled network of alumni from all three schools.
