International Seminar and Assignment Add/Drop Dates

Columbia International Seminars

Students requesting a change in seminar within 30 days of the start of the seminar for which they are already signed up will be assessed a $1500 fee to cover expenses incurred from the travel provider. Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Permission can be granted only if a student pays the $1500 fee and the travel provider is able to procure hotel accommodations in the desired seminar.

Add/Drop Stages:

  • April 6-20
  • April 22-May 6
  • May 8-22
  • May 25-June 8
  • June 10-24
  • June 26-July 10
  • July 14-29: last opportunity to add or drop Brazil and Munich
  • August 4-17: last opportunity to add or drop China, Paris, and India

Add/Drop Deadlines:

  • Munich & Brazil: July 31
  • China, India, & Paris: August 21

London International Assignments

Once we have confirmed your places, we will allow you to make changes up to three months before the date of the trip. However, at that point we expect you to have fully committed and to have made secure arrangements at work so you can take the time off. We will only consider requests to withdraw from those students presenting extenuating circumstances. Students withdrawing passed this three month deadline may be asked to cover costs already incurred.

Please adhere to the following Add and Drop deadlines:

  • Kiev, Ukraine: Friday 19 December
  • Cape Town, South Africa: Friday 24 April
  • Chennai, India: Friday 29 May
  • Beijing, China: Friday 4 September
