London Business School Career Services Resources

Career Central - Our state-of-the-art online recruitment system, allows you to connect with global recruiters 24/7, 365 days a year from a single interface. You can use Career Central to browse job postings, apply for positions, sign-up for events, workshops and interviews, search CVs and research recruiters. Start exploring now to get the most from the system!

Career Services Portal Pages - Whether you are determining your career path, need sector specific advice, want guidance on handling offers, or need the latest updates on visas and work permits, portal is a great source of information to guide you at every step in your career journey. Homepages are updated regularly so make sure you check back often and pay special attention to the "News" section where we'll be posting all the latest need-to-know careers information.

Career Coaching - If you are looking for clarification of your professional aspirations and support in designing your career strategy, then a session with one of our experienced career coaches might be what you need to focus your thinking and help determine your direction. Sign-up for coaching sessions via the Events tab on Career Central and let us help you kick-start your career journey.

Associate Director Appointments - Already worked with a career coach to help you clarify your area of interest? Would you like more information from someone who has been where you want to go? Then sign-up via the Events tab in Career Central for an appointment with one of our Finance, Consulting or Global Industry Associate Directors to discuss your next steps.

Drop-in Sessions - During October/November and January/February, we will be running drop-in sessions from 12.30pm to 1.30pm when you can pop into Career Services for a 10 minute chat. Drop-ins provide a chance for us to give you some quick CV advice or answer your careers questions. And if we find that your query requires a more in-depth response, this is a great time to book an appointment with a Career Coach or Associate Director.

Skills Development Workshops - Throughout your time here, our skills development team will work closely with you to ensure that you leave London Business School equipped with the skills for lifelong career success. From cover letters to networking, individual job search to negotiating offers, our comprehensive skills development programme will allow you to maximise your career potential. Core workshops will be built into your timetable and additional events will be advertised via Portal and the Career Services newsletter.

The Library - London Business School boasts the best business library in Europe so make it your first stop when researching sectors, companies or roles. Vault.com and the 360 search tool are particularly good starting points but speak to Ann Folkmans, the library's resident careers expert, and she will point you in the right direction.
