Linda Green, Carri Chan, and PhD student Yina Lu win 1st place in SPPSN Paper Competition
Professors Linda Green and Carri Chan, along with PhD student Yina Lu, have been awarded first prize in the 2011 INFORMS Section on Public Programs, Services and Needs (SPPSN) inaugural best paper competition. Their paper, "Prioritizing Burn-Injured Patients During a Disaster," was recognized at the November 13 meeting of SPPSN held at this year's INFORMS conference in Charlotte, NC.
