First-Year MBA Student Orientation

700 First-Year MBA Students: 500 in August, 200 in January

Overview

Orientation week is designed to enhance the MBA experience by engaging students from the moment that step on campus. It is an MBA’s first opportunity to interact with fellow students, faculty members and alumni on a Schoolwide level. Our goal is to acquaint students with the people, facilities and resources they will depend upon throughout their entire MBA career.

Why Sponsor?

Sponsorship allows you to reach the incoming class of students immediately, which emphasizes the value of the relationship between your company and the School. This is a highly visible investment, as it guarantees your company’s presence — both in branding and in person — on campus throughout the week of Orientation. Please note that once Orientation concludes in late August, there is to be no recruiting on campus until late September 26.

Second-Year MBA Student Re-Orientation

500 Second-Year MBA Students

Overview

Re-Orientation allows second-year students to prepare themselves into their final year at Columbia Business School. It is designed to reacquaint students with the personal, academic and professional challenges and opportunities they will confront during their final months at the School.

Why Sponsor?

Sponsorship provides your company with a chance to receive targeted exposure and to informally network with students whom you will potentially be interviewing in the fall.
