Fellowships and Scholarships
Fellowships (merit-based)
Target Audience: MBA Students
Overview
Among the highest honors that students can receive, fellowships recognize the highest echelon of academic and practical accomplishment and are awarded only to the School’s most competitive and deserving students. Offering complete financial support for tuition and living expenses allows Columbia Business School to compete for students with extraordinary credentials and often makes the difference in a student’s business school choice.
Why Sponsor?
Fellowships provide your firm with an on-campus student ambassador, emphasizing the value of the relationship between your company and the School. You may choose a fellow with interests and abilities aligned with your organization’s needs and goals. The School works to foster interaction between sponsors and recipients so that you and your respective fellow(s) develop and maintain a strong relationship over a two-year period.
Scholarships (need-based)
Target Audience: MBA Students
Overview
Scholarships enable the School to recognize and reward outstanding students with financial need for their achievements. Offering financial support for tuition allows us to make Columbia Business School a reality for a talented and diverse group of students who might otherwise be unable to attend.
Why Sponsor?
Scholarships provide your firm with an on-campus student ambassador, emphasizing the value of the relationship between your company and the School. They are the most effective way for you to target students interested in a particular academic discipline or who are from a particular background. Students also look to sponsoring firms to help them establish long-lasting professional networks. To foster these mutually beneficial relationships, the School hosts several meetings throughout the School year designed to foster interaction between sponsors and recipients.
