Fall and Spring Research Assistant Internships

Position Responsibilities

CITI requires smart, experienced, self-starting, and highly motivated individuals with the research skills to perform in-depth analysis of telecommunications and mass media industries. Research Assistants must be able to organize and present their findings clearly as a part of the production of conference and seminar papers, journal and book publications. Research Assistants perform these activities under the guidance and supervision of Project Managers and the Institute's Director.

Position Requirements

  • Interest and experience in telecom, information technology, electronic mass media, and related industries
  • Strong knowledge of Lexis-Nexis, Internet search engines, Dow Jones Interactive, and other research databases
  • Well-developed research, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility and responsiveness in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Most of all, candidate must be resourceful, a self-starter, and keen on learning new subjects
