Chazen International Study Tours
What is a Chazen Study Tour?Designed to enhance the classroom curriculum, study tours offer students and their faculty adviser an intense, firsthand experience of the business culture of their chosen country or region. During the 7-10 day trips, students meet with leading executives and government officials while visiting businesses, factories, and cultural sites.
Study tours are organized by student teams and give participants an opportunity to explore different business environments and to lay the groundwork for future international internships and jobs. The Chazen Institute provides guidance and logistical support throughout the tour planning.
Each study tour usually includes 20–40 Columbia Business School students and one faculty member. Tour organizers arrange information sessions and send out e-mails through student notices regarding trip details and deadlines. If you would like to propose a study tour, review organizing a tour.
