Annual Columbia Business School Conference in India. This annual conference convenes industry practitioners, students, and alumni to explore long-term corporate strategy and the fast emerging global business community in India. Past conference themes include: Corporate Governance and Social Responsibility (2008) and Prospects for the World Economy after the Recent U.S. Election (2007).
Chazen International Study Tours travel to various regions globally based on student interest. They are designed to enhance the classroom curriculum and offer students an intense, firsthand experience of local business culture. Study Tours to India have gone annually since 2005.
The Nand and Jeet Khemka Distinguished Speaker Forum. The Nand and Jeet Khemka Distinguished Speaker Forum, established in May 2008 by Board of Overseers member Nand L. Khemka ’56 and his wife, Jeet, will bring leaders in industry, commerce, finance, and government from India and around the globe to New York to share their perspective on India’s growing economy and business policies. These visits will create powerful opportunities for the School to engage alumni, faculty, students, and representatives of the business community in an active dialogue on this evolving region.

EMBA International Seminar India. EMBA International Seminars provide students with the opportunity to travel abroad for a week of learning through lectures and discussions with local business and government officials.
Global Immersion Program: Innovation in India. Global Immersion classes provide students with the opportunity to bridge theory and practice outside of the United States. Students participate in two in-class meetings during the semester and then spend a block week in India meeting with businesses and working on a team project.
