Spring Break Study Tours: More Popular Than Ever

Print this story

Chazen Study Tours hit an all-time high this spring with five different tours taking place during the week of March 5–13. Organized and initiated by students, the tours, which include meetings with executives and visits to factories and cultural sites, offer the opportunity to learn international business by going to the source.

Europe and Asia were hot spots for the spring. Professor Chris Mayer's Real Estate–focused tour visited airports, neighborhoods and businesses in London and Berlin. Students on the Scandinavia tour explored Sweden, Norway and Denmark with Swedish native Professor Bjorn Jorgensen. Another group examining corporate social responsibility in Europe visited Paris and Brussels with Professor Ray Horton. Meanwhile, the China tour visited Beijing and Shanghai with Professor Jonathan Knee; Professor Julian Yeo’s group of students visited Hakone, Kyoto and Tokyo during their exploration of Japan’s business culture.
