China at the Crossroads: FX and Capital Markets Policies for the Coming Decade

"Measuring and Managing Political and Institutional Risk" is the first project in a faculty-led research-to-practice collaborative program. The project included a joint conference with Tsinghua University in Beijing in August 2005 and a public conference in New York in February 2006.   Throughout the project, leading experts in the fields of international economics and finance examined China’s capital market and foreign exchange policies, culminating in the publication of China's Financial Transition at a Crossroads, published August 2007 by Columbia University Press.
