What makes a “quality” social entrepreneur? One MBA set out to answer this question by interviewing and assessing 12 top social entrepreneurs across the UK. The research was conducted as one component of a long-term impact assessment undertaken by UnLtd., a UK-based charity with a £100 million endowment supporting social entrepreneurs. The results of this undertaking pointed to several distinguishing traits — related to personality, life experiences, and societal influences — common among the social entrepreneurs, as well as to a set of unique skills, attitudes and characteristics.
