Philippe Newlin, known to the Columbia Business School community through his entertaining wine classes with the CBS Wine Society, offers his inside perspective on the international wine business. Philippe is currently a sales manager at Vintus Wines, a boutique wine importer located in Westchester County. He is formerly associate editor and the head of tasting at Wine and Spirits magazine, before which he had a fourteen-year career in sales and trading at Swiss Bank (UBS) and Calyon Bank. While studying at SIPA, Philippe took a number of courses at CBS. He shares his thoughts on his unique career.
