The Chazen Institute works in partnership with foundations, corporations and educational institutions worldwide to expand the School's capacity as a leading resource for practitioners and scholars to provide research opportunities for Columbia Business School faculty members.

Africa

In partnership with Goldman Sachs's 10,000 Women initiative, the School is working with the United States International University in Kenya and the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania to provide world-class management education to underserved women through certificate programs, capacity building and research. With the support of the John Templeton Foundation, the Program on Indian Economic Policies: Free Trade, Democracy and Entrepreneurial Development undertakes research on the economies and politics of policy reforms and the role reforms play in promoting entrepreneurship and alleviating poverty. Latin America

Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness in Latin America (ECLA) is a certificate program that equips Latin American entrepreneurs with the foundational knowledge and perspective to implement and lead change both within their companies and countries and across borders. ECLA connects entrepreneurs with faculty members from the school and the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and with experts from Endeavor, a global organization focused on entrepreneurship. Learn more.
