Teaching and research interest

Daniel Krueger is a Partner and Managing Director at Owl Creek Asset Management, a hedge fund based in New York, where he heads the distressed debt team. Mr. Krueger has been with Owl Creek since its inception in February 2002 when the firm started with $17 million under management. Today, Owl Creek manages in excess of $4 billion, investing in event-driven value opportunities across all parts of the capital structure. Prior to Owl Creek, Mr. Krueger worked at Angelo Gordon and Chase Securities Inc. He is on the Board of Directors of Timco Aviation Services and has served on and been heavily involved with numerous ad hoc creditor and equity committees, such as Northwest Airlines, Stelco Inc, Washington Mutual, and Blockbuster. Mr. Krueger earned his A.B. from Harvard College and his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
