Haran Segram joined Columbia Business School as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance. Prior to Columbia, Professor Segram has been a Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance at New York University’s Stern School of Business [2009- 2012] where, he taught Valuation to both Undergraduates and MBAs with excellent teaching evaluations. Professor Segram’s teaching interests include Valuation, Corporate Finance and Capital Markets & Investments. He holds a PhD from the University of Sydney. His dissertation focused on the Application of Advanced Discrete Choice / Probability Modeling in Analysis and Explanation of Credit Risk. Professor Segram has previously worked as a Business Analyst for an International Consulting group and as an Investment Analyst for a Mutual Fund.
