Scott Johnson is the founder and CEO of SJ Partners, LLC (www.sjpartners.com), a middle market private equity firm established in 2001 that specializes in the consumer and services sectors. He was originally trained as a securities analyst and has been a Wall Street equity research analyst. Scott was a member of Institutional Investor ("II") rated teams at both Salomon Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch (Merrill team rated #2 on Wall Street, according to II). Scott complements his financial orientation with operating experience, having served as CFO of an early stage in-store services company. Named a winner of the 40 under 40 M&A Advisor Recognition Awards, he is listed in the Marquis Who's Who of America and is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Business Executives for National Security and the Wings Club. Scott is an instrument rated commercial pilot and runner.
