Ed Busby is the Chief Commerce Officer for Isis, the mobile payments joint venture of AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. He is responsible for all marketing and advertising on the platform. Prior to Isis, Ed was a Partner at The Boston Consulting Group where he led many of the firm's North American initiatives in digital marketing. He has over 15 years of start-up and consulting experience including: - Defined digital marketing strategies for firms in the high tech, telecommunications and consumer packaged goods sectors; - Authored several major white papers on the evolution of digital advertising, local digital advertising, and the role of user data in digital advertising ecosystems; - Conducted over 30 due diligence efforts for leading private equity firms in digital and traditional media; - Turned around several traditional media firms as they transitioned to digital technologies; - Influenced the development of privacy policies in mobile and digital advertising through work with industry organizations. He is also an angel investor with investments in digital training, "sharing economy" technologies, big data and Hispanic media. He has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from The George Washington University.
