Teaching and research interest

Mr. Hendrickson is a Founding Partner of Permian Investment Partners, a $500 million global long/short investment fund, founded in 2008, that manages capital for a number of endowments, foundations, family offices and other institutions. With a 2-4 year average investment horizon, Permian employs a value-oriented investing approach with a keen focus on management and business quality. Mr. Hendrickson and two of Permian's three other investment team members completed Columbia's AVI program. Prior to founding Permian, Mr. Hendrickson worked at Brahman Capital as an Investment Analyst. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hendrickson worked as an Associate at Industrial Growth Partners, a SF-based leveraged buyout fund. Prior to his investment career, Mr. Hendrickson was an Investment Banking Analyst for Merrill Lynch. Mr. Hendrickson received his MBA from Columbia University and his BBA from Emory University. In his free time, Mr. Hendrickson is also member of a charity hedge fund rock band that performs concerts to help raise money for various charities.
