Teaching and research interest

Professor Muharremoglu's teaches courses on modeling, both as part of the MBA core curriculum, as well as an advanced modeling elective course. He is the coordinator of the core Decision Models course. He also teaches Ph.D. classes on dynamic optimization and supply chain and inventory models. His research focuses on decision making under uncertainty, with applications to supply chain management and revenue management. Prior to joining the Columbia faculty, he worked at Verizon Communications and Production Modeling Corporation.
