Teaching and research interest

Lara Kammrath joins the Management Division as a contract Assistant Professor from the Department of Psychology at Columbia University, where she received her Ph.D. and M.A. in 2004 and 2000, respectively. In her research, she examines styles of conflict in interpersonal relationships and explores the factors that influence people's behaviors, attributions, goals, and expectations when they are in conflict situations. Her research also focuses on on the social perception domain, including the study of first impressions and of how impressions change over time.
