Professor Borré is an Associate Portfolio Manager and Principal at Oppenheimerfunds, a large asset manager with over $120 billion under management. Borré joined the value team in February 2003. She covers the Financial Services sector for all the value products. The group manages four distinct products ranging from small to large cap value. The assets include retail mutual funds, wrap products, and institutional accounts. Previously Borré was a Managing Director and Partner at J&W Seligman & Co., Inc., a mid-sized asset management firm in NYC. Borré was part of a three-person team managing assets from institutional, wrap and retail accounts. The team's Large-Cap Value Fund was top 1% for year 2000 and was named in Past Year's Top Performers in the Wall Street Journal monthly Mutual Fund Scorecard for February-September 2001. The long-term record for the Large-Cap Value institutional product was in the top fifth of its peer group in Callan Associates universe rankings. Borré specialized in Financial Services, Health Care and Energy companies. She was awarded fourth place of the best buy-side analysts for the Health Care Providers and Services sector in the 2001 Reuter's Survey of US Large Companies' executives.
Before joining Seligman as a Financial Services analyst in 1996, Borré attended Columbia Business School. While at Columbia, she interned at UBS Warburg (formerly S.G. Warburg) with the senior Bank and Credit Card analyst. She was a Teacher's Assistant for the pre-term calculus class. Prior to CBS, Borré taught middle school and high school at The Trevor Day School (formerly The Day School) in Manhattan. She earned a BA from Barnard College in Program in the Arts and Education. Borré holds the designation Chartered Financial Analyst.
